Chumphon is the nect main town south from where fast boats will take you to the famous scuba and snorkeling island of Koh Tao. Diving resorts and now even luxury accommodations are available. A short boat trip to Koh Phangan or Koh Samui. There are now flights from Bangkok to Chumphon with Solar Air, flights from Bangkok ( Don Muang Airport - DMK ) to Chumphon are daily except Sunday and the flight time is 1 hour 15 minutes
The main highway and rail line makes beach hopping fdown the Sunrise Coast easy. Local cars ( taxis ) are available plus also air conditioned express buses.
